2SC3 2005!!! @ NL 13: January 2006

us at esplanade. pretty decor outside.. :) and i swear i wasnt conscious of the way i put my hands. but it looks like those class photo thingies, where they make the girls put their hands nicely. eeks...
but it's a pretty pretty picture!

okay, i don't know how to work blogger. anyway, this looks like a post mel would put up. but no. this series of pictures is of weizhe's amazing ascent to the top of the wall that is in full view of the outside world. it took him QUITE a while. and since we're talking about weizhe here, that's quite a difficult climb. so after he reached the top, there is a picture there showing how he wrote his name on the masking tape right at the top.

ming hwo and weizhe. well, ming hao started climbing first if i remember correctly. i think it's quite a nice shot. i wasnt belaying either, maybe that's why they are so happy.. :)

zhen yang.. a bit blur. he finally reached the top. poor guy had to stop a few times due to muscle cramps. well at least he has muscles to cramp unlike me.

outing today, wednesday

let's make this more official and not just something that happened on the tagboards. :)
meeting is today.. (oops), meet at tanjong pagar mrt control station at 1.30pm. we're going rockclimbing!!! whee... let's make it mandatory? dun think it is that possible but worth a try anyway. (i'm hopeful many many people turn up) joyce doesnt know where the place is to rockclimb, so people who do know at least send one representative to turn up yeah? people who are going and going to be late, please let JOYCE know, so she'll wait for everybody to turn up (if she isnt late herself :P).

after this, the next meeting point is at cityhall mrt control station for all the buggers who didnt go rockclimbing. grr.. haha anyway, we're meeting at 6pm. final destination is Garlic Restaurant at esplanade. Joyce doesnt know where this is either, so people who know where it is, or the one who suggested that place please turn up! or else joyce brings everyone to a place she knows --chocolate bar!!! :D *grins madly* as usual protocol, if u r turning up, please let JOYCE know! :)

Okay...I'm finally posting the rockclimbing pics we took at the latest "class" outing with quite a pitiable turnout..but was fun nonetheless...We went to Climb Adventure at Tanjong pagar...and I had to wear my bro's pants (cos I didn't have anything suitable)...Our first reaction upon approaching the place showcased by glass panels was...are we gg to climb in the full view of the public? Fortunately not...cos there were other walls away from the curious public eye...btw, rockclimbing was FUN! Though I was the most unfit one of the 4 and totally lacking in stamina...in fact I was better at belaying than climbing...ahh! Btw Robyn, Ian and Weizhe made it successsfully to the top! Yes, except me...hahaha...I made...three quarters? haha..

This is a completely fake-o shot! I was simply too tired to climb any further...and so this was posed...and it was VERY near the ground...and it doesn't look like I was climbing anyway...I look sprawled against the wall in a completely unprofessional pose...hahahaha...

Tight knot! ....Oh btw...we went there totally clueless abt rock climbing...but an extremely friendly and helpful staff taught us the 5 steps of belaying, how to tie the "number 8" knot...so nice of him!
